It’s always a thrill to hear new Tawiah. Last time we posted about her, we shared a great live performance of “Break Away,” which you should definitely catch if you missed.

Above, see Tawiah doing a live rendition of holiday favorite, “Little Drummer Boy.” Those holiday lights on her head are pretty serious, man. At any rate, a great addition to your YouTube holiday playlist for that last minute dinner party.

Lastly, we are super excited to share that Tawiah has also recently dropped an uplifting EP called Run. What’s better is that it’s free! Download below. Also, grab a little taste by streaming the title track below.

Many thanks to Put Me On It for putting this on our radar. We’ve been a fan of Tawiah, British vocalist and Brit School alum (Amy Winehouse, Adele), for a long time now. Even before her Jodi’s Room EP – we want to say it was a track off Brownswood Bubblers circa 2006 that put us on, but we can’t quite put a finger on it. ‘Twas in the MySpace days of music digging and stumbling.

We are so very excited to hear something new from this lady – the song’s been out for a while but we just had to share. Above, you’ll find a video of a beautiful acoustic performance of Tawiah’s newest track, “Break Away.” Her voice is mystical – we are seriously on the edge of our seats awaiting her debut album, whenever it’s coming.
