Cody ChesnuTT gets his Marvin Gaye on something serious on this live rendition of “That’s Still Mama.” If this doesn’t stir something inside, we don’t know what will – whew. So smooth.

Now 10 years since the release of Headphone Masterpiece, Atlanta singer Cody Chesnutt is preparing to release his sophomore album Landing On A Hundred in October. In efforts to once again self release his album, he is inviting his supporters to help via a Kickstarter campaign.
Ten years wiser, Cody’s topic matter on the new album will delve deeper to cover a myriad of real life topics in his now expected style of candor. The title itself holds to this honesty, in fact being derived from the saying “keeping it one hundred.” The album was recorded with a ten-piece band at Royal Studios in Memphis, the same place that housed recordings by Al Green, Buddy Guy and Ike & Tina Turner.
Below, stream his newest single “That’s Still Mama” and after that peep the video for a live studio session recording of “Everybody’s Brother.” This all is sounding mighty promising – can’t wait for more!
