The performance will come upon release of the group’s highly anticipated fourth studio album, Reflektor.

Starting today, folks can visit for a chance to win tickets to the exclusive live performance by participating in “The Music Experiment 2.0” across Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Vine, Shazam & Twitter. The most creative entries will receive tickets, with select entrants gaining VIP access and five fans winning a starring role in their own MTV Iggy-produced music video! Pretty fancy.

And fret not! Those unable to attend the performance will be able to stream it live on and via The Music Experiment Windows App.

Following the Arcade Fire performance, the next exclusive performance will take place on November 26 when MTV Iggy and Intel bring K-Pop sensation Taeyang to San Francisco. Stay tuned!

Like all ME 2.0 shows, attendees are encouraged to join in on the night’s theme. For Boston, the theme is White Noise, which plays off the title of Disclosure’s hot single. So if you go, be sure to arrive dressed in all black with the opportunity to accent your look with white, glowing paint.

Not in Boston? That’s ok. The show will be broadcast live on the ME 2.0 website or via the Music Experiment Windows 8 App. The app will allow homes users to direct the show themselves from multiple camera angles – zoom in for a close up on their favorite band member, cut back for a wide shot, and save their own edit to share with their friends. The entire experience is in full HD video and can be wirelessly sent to the users TV using Intel’s new WiDi technology while being controlled from their lap. Very cool. The series already hit New York City with a cosmic masquerade featuring Empire of the Sun. Watch the show here. Stay tuned for info on additional events in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Nashville.

English electronic music duo Disclosure, made up of brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence, join The Music Experiment 2.0 as part of their fall tour in the United States to promote their just-released debut album on Cherrytree/Interscope, Settle. As one of the most successful British dance acts in a generation, Disclosure has experienced a meteoric rise to the top of the charts in the U.K. and Australia and is making waves across the U.S music scene.

Recap: Empire Of The Sun Kicks Off MTV Iggy & Intel’s Music Experiement 2.0 in NYC

Last night, MTV Iggy & Intel launched The Music Experiment 2.0 series in New York City and we at Giant Step had the pleasure of producing the fantastic event. Featured act Empire of the Sun gave an unforgettable performance and we couldn’t be more thrilled about the incredible experience we were able to bring to life.

Attendees entered Gotham Hall and were treated to performers honoring the cosmic masquerade theme that guests were encouraged to dress up for. DJ Adrian Lux got the party started and was followed by a heated performance by fire breathers and drummers.

Then, Empire of the Sun took the stage for a mind-blowing set featuring several dancers, costume changes and some big creature blowing smoke. It was unlike anything we have ever seen.
