News: Over 150 Indie Music Labels Lose Stock In Riot Fire

Sony DADC’s warehouse in Enfield, UK was destroyed in a riot fire Monday night, which included a stock warehouse that held the inventory for more than 150 record labels distributed by PIAS.

Radio 1 DJ Rob da Bank’s label and XL Recordings (Adele’s label) were just a couple of the many businesses that have been affected. One spokesperson said, “I’m sure there are labels which aren’t insured. I’m sure there will be labels that will go bust.”

Very sad. Condolences to all our peers affected and everyone impacted by the riots – we ask that all please stay safe.
