Nublu Records Is Born

Dear friends of ours, today marks the official start of nublu records. Known for the cozy music lounge/bar in the east village, nublu managed to become synonymous with groundbreaking music within 3 years, with rave reviews in the New York Times, The Village Voice, The New Yorker, Time Out and Vogue.

Expanding upon the nublu name, Illhan Ersahin (founder) created nublu records. Celebrating its birth today, is the release of their first four 12" vinyls at stores around the world and exclusively online at iTunes. These include:

Seu Jorge , what a man. We were so lucky at nublu .. having him performing a few times with Forro in the Dark on those Wednesday nites. The man became a superstar in music and film in no time and Forro in the Dark has become its own school of how to trance out forro Brasil party vibes.
