Before taking the stage at London's Lovebox Festival last weekend, Jamiroquai leader, Jay Kay, confirmed the rumored speculation of an end to their relationship with Sony Records. The love/hate affair will dissolve with the delivery of a Greatest Hits album due out November 2006. Kay also remarked that the album will boast 2 new tracks and be accompanied by a tour starting in October. He also said he plans to take Jamiroquai back to their acid jazz foundation, which will include the smooth sounds of a brass section that they strayed away from in recent years. Long-standing fans have been waiting to hear those words for a long time now - and couldn't be happier at the return of the revolutionary space cowboy. The full interview can be heard at Funkin.Net.
