Up Hygh Gets International Distribution

Consisting of two producers, writers, MC's and DJs, Pure P and Rick Skizzo of Up Hygh have managed to get the attention of many, despite their young age. Creating a sound that is a blend of soul-music, hip-hop and R&B, the duo recently released their debut album 'Venus' earlier this year on underground label Raw Fusion that had fellow DJs and Tastemakers such as Gilles Peterson, Questlove, DJ Spinna and Jazzanova giving their praise.

Now, the album has recently been licensed to the UK-label Tru Thoughts for the world and will be re-released in the near future. In the meantime, the group have started their own production company/label called Cloud 9. Not bad for a group of gents who are just in their 20's.
