The Neil Cowley Trio Makes A Stunning Debut

It seems these days, you don't have to look much further than the UK to find some outstanding artists that are pushing the boundaries of music. Granted, not everything from the UK is "the next big thing" as some people may want you to believe, but you can't deny some of the innovative sounds coming from that part of the world. In particular, and perhaps a genre that receives less attention, is what Neil Cowley is doing with Jazz.
Having toured extensively with Zero 7 and several other groups as a keyboardists, as well as one-half of the downtempo group Fragile State, Neil Cowley recently released a debut album titled 'Displaced' under the name "The Neil Cowley Trio" that has been generating a lot of press. Released worldwide, it has yet to make it stateside, but until it does, listen to a few tracks here.
