EXCLUSIVE: Mos Def's 'Boogie Man' - Free Download

Posted by Michael Yu, Sep 01, 03:57 PM EST

By now, most of you probably heard that Mos Def was arrested last night, after giving an unauthorized performance in front of NYC's Radio City Music Hall during the MTV Video Music Awards. According to reports, the Brooklyn bred rapper pulled up around 10pm in a flat-bed truck and started to perform the song "Katrina Clap," a song that attacks President Bush's slow response to Hurricane Katrina, before being arrested.

While it is not known what exactly happened that an arrest had to occur, we did manage to get our hands on an exclusive track today from his upcoming album 'Tru3 Magic,' due out on October 17th on Geffen Records. This shouldn't lead to any arrests, so sing on Mos Def.
