Chico Hamilton Requests Your Remixes

Chico Hamilton and label, Joyour Shout!, announced yesterday a remix contest on Chico's MySpace page, that requests DJs and fans to download a beat picked by Chico, remix it and then post it back on the site. Chico will then pick his favorite tracks and will post it on his MySpace site.

This MySpace DJ event and another "By Invitation Only" event featuring surprise celebrity remixes from amongst Chico's MySpace friends will coincide with Chico's 85th birthday and a special birthday performance at Joe's Pub in New York City on September 21 at 9:30 pm.

One of four unique Chico loops (Hip Hop/R & B/Conquistadors/Swing) will be rotated thru the Chico's MySpace player every 24 hours available for downloading by interested DJ/fans.
