DJ Shadow Speaks About 'The Outsider'

Released this week, DJ Shadow's latest album 'The Outsider,' has been generating debate amongst fans. While some like the new direction he has taken, some are a little thrown off by it. But in the end, you can't deny that it is different and have to respect DJ Shadow's desire to make records he wants to make. In speaking to Allhiphop, DJ Shadow noted, "I just wanted to make a record that more accurately depicted where I stand in music right now," which also meant making a record that was harder for people to imitate.
