As we approach the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, here's a good cause to add onto your list of things to do. Heroes of the Dancefloor are releasing a digital album to support the homeless whereby ALL monies collected (including royalties and mechanicals publishing) will go to the homeless. The album, which will be released on www.ingrooves.com digitally and non-exclusively on October 30th, features jazz sampels from the 1920s to the 50s with hip-hop and garage beats layered underneath plus vocals by the likes of Yolanda (of Bugz in The Attic fame) and voiceovers from 12 Americans who appear in TV ads on top. The project also features 4 American hip-hop acts.
Check out their myspace page to listen to songs from the project.
