Coachella's practically sold out. With well over 2 months before the actual festival's scheduled to take place, the event has been reported to be completely booked – all 3-day passes are gone and only Friday has limited tickets still available. Headline acts Rage Against The Machine, Bjork, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Jesus And Mary Chain will be performing April 27-29 at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, CA and are reasoned to be the cause of the record breaking ticket sales.
In other Coachella news, the event was rumored to have moved locations. However, co-founder Paul Tollett dispelled this notion, telling Billboard.com, "there were rumors about that whole area being developed for houses and golf courses. We said we'd make this commitment to them, but please don't make houses here, and it worked." So it's good news for those who already have tickets and all bad for everyone else.
