Nublu Turns 5

A staple and sign of the strength of New York City’s underground music scene, Nublu turns 5 this month, celebrating with eleven special shows from June 13th to the 23rd. Performing with label talent Forro In The Dark, Kudu, Love Trio, Brazilian Girls (DJ set), Nublu Orchestra conducted by Butch Morris and Our Theory will be favorites U-Roy, Eddie Henderson, and Moby. And if that isn’t enough, founder Ilhan Ersahin’s Wax Poetic will be getting down the week of Independence day from July 2-5. Be sure to hit up Nublu in the East Village over the next few weeks and wish them a joyous anniversary.
