Water Taxi Beach Parties (NYC)

Continuing from last summer’s successful Beach Parties in Long Island City (NYC), the Water Taxi Beach establishment has put together a diverse lineup for its 2007 Saturday night schedule (June 30 – Sept 1) with hosts Justin Carter, Probus, and the Brothers’ Brothers. The list of guests includes neo-disco prince Prins Thomas (partner of Hans-Peter Lindstrom), post-punkfunk master Sasha Crnobrnja of In Flagranti, luscious French house DJ Gilb’R (who is 50% of Chataeu Flight with I:Cube), Turntables on the Hudson (err…East River), Grandmaster Flash, DFA member and host of WNYU’s Beats in Space radio show Tim Sweeney, the techno institution Underground Resistance (UR) Assault DJ Squad - Do Not Miss!, weekly resident of APT Akalepse, Zombie Nation, and Innervisions boss Dixon with Alex from Tokyo. No doubt: it’s a great way to escape the Manhattan bridge & tunnel madness and to dance the evening away with the beach and a breathtaking view of the skyline.
