Last night Mark Ronson performed with a full band to a rammed Highline Ballroom, NYC. It was his first ever live gig in America and despite his years of experience DJing, Ronson openly confessed to the crowd that he was "sh*tting himself."
The record release party for his album Version included Ronson on guitar with a 7-piece band and various guests Daniel Merriweather, Kenna, Tiggers, Santo Gold, Saigon, Wale, and Alex Greenwald. For those who missed it, everyone in attendance had a blast to his interpretation of "Toxic," Radiohead's "Just" and the old school breaks anthem "Apache" by the Incredible Bong Band. He'll be back in September for a complete tour of the US (details TBA).
Set List
"Inversion"
"God Put A Smile"

"Apache"
"Good Girls"
"Ooh Wee"
"Didunt Didunt"
"Pretty Green"
"Amy"
"Just"

It's hard to imagine how producer, DJ, artist, and Allido label boss Mark Ronson found the time...
