Indie Dance Acts Ruling The 2008 Plug Awards

Indie bands Of Montreal, Battles, Arcade Fire and electro-house outfit Justice garnered the most nominations for the 2008 Plug Awards. Thankfully, the annual independent awards site did nominate Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings for album of the year (for 100 Days, 100 Nights), female artist of the year, and live act of the year.
A brief perusal of the myriad categories may leave you in a state of disbelief at the lack of diversity being championed this year. Please do us a favor and vote for a 3rd party in the Write-In Ballot Box, should you feel compelled to do so.
