Giant Step Needs Your Help

Giant Step, a leading music and lifestyle marketing company and concert promoter is currently looking for part-time interns to work with us on day-to-day tasks as well as freelance writers and videographers. Descriptions for each position are as follows:


New Media Intern

- Working on specific online promotions to increase traffic to giantstep.net
- Working on executing online-driven marketing campaigns
- Maintaining the list of who is who in the world of online promotion
- Aiding in the creation of reports and writing one sheets

Applicants should have a passion for music, a working knowledge of filemaker or other database programs and MS Office applications. Candidates should also enjoy and be fluent in researching music on the internet and must have at least 2-3 days per week available for the duration of the 3 month program. We are looking for energetic people with a great can-do attitude who are responsible.

Lifestyle/DJ Marketing Intern

- Executing campaigns and communicating with our network of Tastemakers/VIPs
- Helping doing research for new lifestyle stores from a pool of resources
- Inputting feedback and help in creating reports and writing one sheets for our mailings

Applicants should have a passion for music, possess experience with MS Office, database applications like Filemaker, Macintosh computers, and the Web (Basic knowledge of Photoshop and/or Illustrator a plus). Candidates should also feel comfortable on the phone and must have at least 2-3 days per week available for the duration of the 3 month program. We are looking for energetic people with a great can-do attitude who are responsible and are actively pursuing a career in the music / entertainment industry or in marketing in general.

The Giant Step Marketing Internship is an unpaid position, but candidates will receive brand-spanking new releases and college credit. Submit a cover letter and resume to Erik@giantstep.net


Freelance Writer

- Writing and editing content for our website, including feature articles, artist pages and release pages.
