Writers Guild To Picket Grammy Awards

The ongoing writer's strike is now expected to interfere with and possibly grind to a halt the upcoming 50th Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.

Both the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) have taken proactive stances against the Grammy's by refusing to grant a waiver for the CBS telecast and planning to picket the entrance to the show. Musicians who sympathize with the writers' associations may also boycott the awards, leaving the fate of the Grammy's murky at best.
