After announcing our involvement with Lily Allen's New York debut show, we soon started to realize how much buzz this young singer had generated. Probably in hopes of capitalizing on it and to generate further interest, Lily Allen is set to release her first US EP 'Smile' on September 26th. In support of her forthcoming album, 'Public Warning,' due out October 17th via Def Jam, Lady Sovereign will hit the road beginning at the end of October. After opening up for The Streets for a handful of shows, Lady Sovereign will go at it on her own this time around.

With TV On The Radio's 'Return To Cookie Mountain' set to be released next week on September 12th via Interscope Records, AOL is now exclusively playing the video for "Wolf Like Me" at aolmusicindie.com (also below through the powers of linking). And if I had to give my opinion, this video is done much better than 2006's VMA Rock Video Winner, A.F.I.

With a handful of fall tour dates, as well as recent tours, getting your fill of Jamie Lidell isn't too hard. But for those that can't get enough, he is set to perform on the Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson on 10/30. Additionally, while it has not been official announced, he will perform at the Beck-curated "Wired Magazine Next Fest" on 9/26 in NYC.

By now, most of you probably heard that Mos Def was arrested last night, after giving an unauthorized performance in front of NYC's Radio City Music Hall during the MTV Video Music Awards. According to reports, the Brooklyn bred rapper pulled up around 10pm in a flat-bed truck and started to perform the song "Katrina Clap," a song that attacks President Bush's slow response to Hurricane Katrina, before being arrested.
