A few years ago, it might have seemed strange for well known musicians to contribute to the soundtrack of a video game, with perhaps the first time this happened being when Nine Inch Nails scored the music for the genre breaking game, Quake. But with the ever increasing cross over between the music, film and gaming industries, we see music from well known artists being played in commercials, musicians being actors, actors being musicians and of course musicians contributing to the music of...

After having been pushed back several times from an original release date of June 27th, it looks like Lupe Fiasco's much anticipated debut album, 'Food & Liquor' will be released on September 19th. Sometimes an artist is just too damned good for American audiences to embrace. Such appears to be the case of Ian Clark (or Perspects), a Detroit-based multimedia artist who’s consistently poured the mind-bending and musically bizarre onto the world’s dancefloors for more than a decade. Perspects’ strangely sexy, yet unsettling vocal presence (what he calls “in a Bryan Ferry vs. Brian Eno sort of way”) might be most recognizable from last year’s hit, The Hacker’s “Flesh and...
