Posted by Michael Yu, Sep 18, 09:40 AM EST

Not quite the same as Moby deciding to go internet and email free for 2006, RJD2 has decided to go rap free on his forthcoming yet untitled third album. Instead of the sample based hip-hop/electronica of previous albums, the new album will be a depature for RJD2, with live instrumentation played entirely by himself. Teargas Plateglass To Release New Album

Posted by Michael Yu, Sep 15, 05:09 PM EST

In 2004, the collective went into hiding after the accidental death of a co-founder....

Posted by Michael Yu, Sep 14, 06:15 PM EST

I never knew who the artist was who designed the cover of Alice Smith's 'For Lovers And The Dreamers' album. But having always liked the aesthetic, I recently found out that the designer is the work of Audrey Kawasaki. Recently holding an exhibit at the Thinkspace gallery in LA, this West Los Angeles native studied at Brooklyn's Pratt Institute and is influenced by the works of Alphonse Mucha and Gustav Klimt.
