As one would except, given Lady Sovereign's brash nature, the song features the lyrics "If you love me, then thank you/If you hate me, then f**k you." For those of you in London, in case you didn't catch this, Da Lata will play an exclusive London show at the Jazz Café. Performing all their classics from 'Pra Manha' to the mighty 'Ronco Da Cuica,' the night is set to feature a few surprises and guest appearances. In a recent Def Jam newsletter, it was mentioned that due to a hard time deciding which song to shoot a video for, they decided to shoot one video for three songs. "One of my favorite videos from the classic hip hop era was KRS-ONE's 1993 classic "Return Of The Boom Bap" clip in which he incorporates 2 to 3 songs from his album of the same name. One of the founding fathers of contemporary electronica, broken beat and nu-jazz music, King Britt is set to add another genre to his musical home, with the techno inspired ‘The Nova Dream Sequence.’ Scheduled to be released on September 7th via Compost Records, ‘The Nova Dream Sequence’ will feature melodic textures and driving rhythms with a live show that will include band mate Tim Motzer, on guitar and samplers and VJ Dan Potthast performing visuals influenced by TRON and Blade...

2006 has been a year of saying goodbye to many pioneers, and today continues this grim reality. Essential Pink Floyd co-founder and member Syd Barrett has died at the tender age of 60. Barrett is credited with laying down the foundation for the groundbreaking rock band, which is credited with influencing many of today's musicians. His showcasing of spontaneous stage antics led many to believe the speculations about his heavy and damaging drug use. For quite some time, the talented singer and...

The second song to receive video treatment from The Streets latest album, 'The Hardest Way To Make An Easy Living,' comes "Never Went To Church." Perhaps not as fun as "When You Wasn't Famous," but visually, especially for people who love black and white footage, it is pretty amazing. Watch it here .

While the debate could go on forever in regards to the actual effect an album leak has on record sales, when a leak does occur that requires the album release date to be pushed up or an artist voices his displeasure, it does make you re-think our downloading culture. This time around, the latest artist to take action is Lupe Fiasco. With his latest album, 'Food & Liquor' originally scheduled to be released on June 27th, due to the album leaking in April, Billboard reports that the album...
