It is hard to put together the definitive JB homage as that would go on for days - the legacy is truly large. I ended up picking tracks that were most special to me. Some of the selections are by The Godfather himself, while others are by members of James' "Funky People" or even instrumentals, but James is always present either as producer, co-writer, organ player (a bad, bad player I might add) or grunter. Or he might be simply laying down the super super heavy funk or singing a ballad like no one else could. He is omni-present. And that's the way we want him to be remembered.

Here's to many, many more tributes - he deserves all of them.
