Big Daddy Kane and Percee P join forces with Connie Price & the Keystones on this action-packed 12-inch from Scion A/V.

Connie Price & the Keystones began as a recording project for Stones Throw’s Now-Again label involving Dan Ubick (Breakestra, Madlib’s Sound Directions) and Todd M. Simon (Macy Gray, Antibalas, El Michels Affair). Combining elements of soul, afro beat, dub reggae, late ‘60’s/early ‘70’s film scores, and psychedelic rock & jazz into a soundtrack for the best film you’ve never seen. Dan and Todd have worked with everyone from Big Daddy Kane, Quantic Soul Orchestra, Percee P and Madlib to DJ Greyboy, Aloe Blacc and Thievery Corporation. Connie Price & The Keystones are currently in the studio recording brand new material for a 2007 release on Ubiquity Records featuring a slew of talented MC’s and instrumentalists.

On this installment in the Scion A/V series, Connie Price & The Keystones revisit the classic Big Daddy Kane track for "Give A Demonstration Part 2" complete with new vocals from Big Daddy Kane himself. A funk-fueled backdrop lends the smooth operator some heavy ammunition to unleash his vebal assault on this new classic in the making. Flipping to the B-Side, Percee P shoots up the competition with his signature machine-gun raps on "International Hustler," while Connie Price & The Keystones keeps the wheels rolling with more heavy breaks and pimped-out instrumentation. Including the razor-sharp accapellas and killer instrumentals for both tracks, this 12-inch ain’t just fly, it’s baadasssss.
