Riz MC's biting lyrics succinctly, clearly, and devastatingly pick apart the kind of topics most MC's don't even think about: our tendencies to pigeon hole each other, our technological social lives, the modern cult of hipster cool and the factors behind suicide bombing. Best of all, Riz never strays into worthy, self righteous "conscious MC" territory. Described as Mos Def meets the Prodigy and M.I.A meets Jay Electronica, his musical canvas is as bold as it is hard to put into a genre - from intense, banging electronic bass to spine tingling string arrangements.

Of the post-9/11 media circus we live in today, Riz shouts, "Everybody do the post 9/11 dance, look scared, shake your arse while the bombs go blast." His lazer sonics-filled "People Like People" is a 5 minute, infectious concoction of what's going on right now, and "Radar," the intensely anthemic new single, is now available to download for free. Riz worked with Meiko [Marina from Vouvelle Vague], Dan Swift [Kasabian] and Lazersonic on the five track EP.

Invited on the annual UK showcase tour of America in March, Riz MC will play this year's Rock Over London showcase in NY, LA, and SXSW through March. Riz will return to the UK in April, playing live dates in anticipation of his debut EP 'Confirm/Ignore' which will be released on May 19th.
