Yo Gabba Gabba! has quickly moved from cult status to mainstream acclaim and one look at the caliber of artists involved in this project lets you know how far and wide this show’s fanbase reaches.

Preschoolers and parents alike will be chanting the magic words, “Yo Gabba Gabba!” as Nickelodeon and Sony BMG release the first album from the hit Nick Jr. series. Yo Gabba Gabba! will feature 13 tracks from the series’ first and second seasons, including music from The Ting Tings, The Roots and Mark Kozelek of Sun Kil Moon and The Red House Painters. Additionally, Hip Hop legend Biz Markie lends his talent on the unique “Biz’s Beat of the Day” segment. “Music is at the heart of Yo Gabba Gabba! and this album is yet another way for kids and their parents to enjoy and experience the show together,” says Doug Cohn, SVP of Nickelodeon Music. “We’re thrilled to have such an eclectic mix of recording artists involved with both the series and the album, and it’s definitely time to ‘Get the Sillies Out.’”
