With a fistful of remixes and one debut album under their belt, Zero 7 created the kind of buzz that most major label bands can only dream of. Their debut album, "Simple Things" landed them a nomination for the Technics Mercury Prize for Album of the Year in the United Kingdom. "Simple Things" is mellow music for relaxing but is also steeped in so much soul and funk that even earmarking it as chillout music barely begins to make sense.
Giant Step teamed up with Quango/Palm to release the 12" of "Destiny" late last year. The response to the package, which included remixes by Hefner and Photek, was immense. Now, we're gearing up for their follow up 12", "In The Waiting Line", featuring remixes by Dorfmeister, Osunlade, and Aquanote. Make sure to grab hold of yours - only a limited amount of 3500 units will be available.
