release description

Nearly two years after she first emerged to electrify the world with her multi-platinum, critically acclaimed debut album Rockferry, Duffy has returned with her second album Endlessly which is scheduled to be released on December 7th. Endlessly, which was recorded in New York, London and Spain represents the next chapter of an already astounding career. The CD was co-written and co-produced by Duffy and acclaimed songwriter/ producer Albert Hammond. Endlessly follows Duffy’s debut CD Rockferry which was the 4th best selling worldwide album in 2008 and included back-to-back hit singles “Mercy,” “Warwick Avenue” and “Stepping Stone.” Rockferry sold 6.5 million copies.

Preceding the album is the catchy lead single, “Well, Well, Well” which includes Duffy’s New York-based musical collaborators – fellow Def Jam artists the Roots. “Well, Well, Well” lands on October 19th, while other song titles from Endlessly include “My Boy,” “Don’t Forsake Me,” “Love Struck,” “Breath Away” and the title tune, “Endlessly." Songwriter Hall Of Fame inductee Albert Hammond’s legendary career spans four decades and includes such memorable signature hits as “It Never Rains in Southern California,” “When I Need You,” “The Air That I Breathe,” “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” and “To All The Girls I Loved Before."
