release description

Agape Featuring Nadia Harris' EP1 Remixed follows up 2010's EP1 with remixes by friends from around the world. The sounds here are as diverse as the band itself. The all-star cast of producers and musicians involved are from, or live, in places such as a Miami, Rio De Janeiro, Jamaica, Toronto, London, Hong Kong, Lima, Madagascar, Dominican Republic, New York, Paris, and more. Agape's music and remixes have already been getting play from such luminaries as François K and Gilles Peterson.

In EP1 Remixed you will find remixes by Marcelo Yuka, Simbad, Marcelinho Da Lua, Patrick Paredes, Digitaldubs, Basic Soul Unit, Kaje (Trackheadz), and Omar Suardy (DHM). Agape's own Miami-Bronx-bomber Erick Paredes drops a heavy payload on "She Really Likes It" in the form of a live electronic dub. Rio de Janeiro's producer/DJ Marcelinho Da Lua and partner-in-crime Angelo B turn in a stellar remix in fine Brazilian Bollywood Drum & Bass stylee. Not to be outdone by his big brother, Patrick Paredes concocts an indie-ish analog banger. The multi-talented, Peruvian-born French-Londoner, Simbad delivers a euphoric blow-up in his remix of "I And I." And tapping into his Jamaican & Panamanian roots, the prolific Kevin "Kaje" Johnson burns a hole on the dancefloor with live acoustic guitar plucks and a sexy Latin bounce.
