The first in a series of EPs via her own label, Gofunkyourself Records, Nikka Costa's Pro*Whoa! delves into a stoney, indie pop realm while keeping her lauded, soulful vocals intact. Her unfettered approach stems from this being her first independent release free from major label directives. This digital DJ promo features the rock infused lead single "Nylons In A Rip," the title track that sounds as if she was inspired by early Beastie Boys and then put in a blender with Peaches and Amanda Blank, plus a remix of "Ching Ching Ching" by Richard Vission.
