Vikter Duplaix has created a new sound with his debut album "International Affairs." The futuristic soul songs combine smooth R&B artistry (like Prince and D'Angelo before him) with modern dance floor beats. Duplaix has spent much of his music career behind the scenes, working as a producer with R&B luminaries like Erykah Badu, Jaguar Wright and Eric Benet. Hometown ties are strong, of course, and Duplaix's discography is filled with tracks he created with some of Philly's finest: Hip-hop maestro Jazzy Jeff and DJ/dance music producer extraordinaire King Britt.
