Championing a fresh "urban dub" sound for the past five years Turntables on the Hudson (TOTH) is releasing its latest installment of hypnotic funky beats and global rhythms. DJs Nickodemus and Mariano are the musical maestros behind TOTH's success and their much revered outdoor weekly parties.

The album captures the essence and vibe of their legendary parties filled with bounce and smile-inducing international sounds. Africa is represented with tracks like "One For Senegal" by The Pleb and "Afro Brasiliero" by Nu Perspective as well as an unreleased cut by NYC Afrobeat band Antibalas. There are also moments heavy on the Latin tip with tracks like Radio Mundial's "Alma Latina Interlude" and Local 12's "Jesus El Beat" while the Middle Eastern-influenced "Oriental Wind" by Ilhan Ersahin keeps things eclectic.
