Legendary soul singer Al Green is responsible for the some of the sweetest, most seductive songs in American music history, most notably the hit "LetĘs Stay Together." After a string of gorgeous albums in the 1970s, the talented and charming Southerner turned to gospel music and eventually became a preacher. Green has eight Grammys for his gospel work and founded a church in his native Memphis but continues to explore R&B music. Now Blue Note is releasing I CanĘt Stop, GreenĘs first secular album since 1976 where he's reuniting with legendary producer/arranger Willie Mitchell. The album alternates between passionately delivered odes of love with brass-filled blues and soul numbers.
