release description

The UK press calls him "Sinatra in sneakers." The Hollywood Reporter dubbed him "A one man British invasion." So who exactly is this Jamie Cullum? Jamie is a self-trained pianist/singer/songwriter and London resident who has a frighteningly good and torrid stage performance. A "twentysomething" kid from the rave generation that plays jazz standards and makes it sound cool while getting props by his peers. On his debut twentysomething he plays careful renditions of superstar contemporaries such as Radiohead and Jeff Buckley, as well as classics like "Singing In The Rain," and "I Could Have Danced All Night." And of course there is the fact that his album is the fastest selling jazz debut in UK history.
