Mos Def, perhaps best known as one half of the seminal hip-hop duo Black Star, has been making quite a name for himself hosting Russell Simmons Def Poetry Jam and acting both on Broadway and Hollywood. Regarded as one of hip-hop’s most introspective artists, he is following up his thoughtful debut album 'Black On Both Sides' with the long awaited 'The New Danger.' The first single from his sophomore album, “Sex, Love and Money?? combines his usual syncopated hip-hop beats with layers of live instrumentation, creating something totally new and dramatic that is sure to stun listeners. As always, Mos drops fierce and insightful rhymes over the grooves, speaking his mind effortlessly over bumping backdrops.
