New York City is going to get a little West Coast funk injection when The Pharcyde, this time as a duo (Romye and Imani), play S.O.B.'s on Tuesday, Nov 30th. The Southern California crew dropped 'Humboldt Beginnings,' the next sure-to-be entertaining chapter in their musical story. Their previous albums 'Bizarre Ride II to Pharcyde' and 'Labincalifornia' are both eccentric masterpieces that capture the lighter side of hip-hop. Like kindred spirits De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest and Outkast, The Pharcyde created a sound all their own by letting their personalities mix in with their killer beats.
