release description

Oasis is performing on The Late Show with David Letterman on June 23rd.

British supergroup Oasis created some of the catchiest songs ever to come out of England but their albums prove they are a group with depth and true staying power. Oasis captures the human side of life - dark lyrics and a forceful musical mood gets played out with their trademark swirling guitar riffs and aggressive rhythms. On the Giant Step Jukebox you can now preview ”Lyla,” the first single to be released and it’s nothing short of a powerful and passion-driven rock epic. And really, we should expect nothing less from Oasis. This summer they will be touring America, spreading their sound stateside, so catch them while you can.

"Submit to the pleasures of their neo-retro-classicism, or just fook off, mate. [A-]" — SPIN Magazine

It feels like a lifetime since a new album from the Gallaghers justified the hype and rhetoric spun on its behalf, but this is so good, it makes you want to pour not one but two glasses of Jack-Daniels over your head. [*****] " — The Guardian

"Their best in nearly a decade. [****]" — Mojo
