release description

Wonderwheel Recordings is happy to announce Nickodemus' solo debut album entitled "Endangered Species." Coming from the Global Hip Hop & House backdrop of New York City & his Turntables on the Hudson parties, Nickodemus captures some of the best artists & sounds the city has to offer. Artists include Jay Rodriguez & Jonathan Maron of the Groove Collective, Carol C of Si Se, Victor Axelrod of Antibalas, Jean Shepherd of Radio Mundial, Ethan White of Tortured Soul, Will Holland (aka Quantic), Polo of La Familia, Dionysos & Stimulus of The Real Live Show, Nappy G, Apani B & Andrea Montiero. "Endangered Species" are people, places, sounds, ideas... countless stories of everything around us that's struggling to survive in the midst of a changing World. The opening song was written to the opening words of Howard Zinn's "A People's History of the United States." The rest of the CD spans the World of unique artists & sounds of World, Folk, Funk, Jazz, Hip Hop & Dance Music- all with a message of peace, awareness & love for the dance!
