This past December, the UK got a little treat called Tanya Lacey a la the double A-side single “Letter To My Ex” and “Born To Fly,” both super addictive tracks that we are so stoked to get our hands on.

The single shows Lacey moving adeptly between different styles, with “Born To Fly” carrying a dub heavy edge that’s sure to reach past the mainstream, and “Letter To My Ex” cementing her as a worthy peer to any of today’s R&B divas.

Each video is also equally unique, with a cool cinemagraph traversing Stokes Croft, Bristol in the “Born To Fly” video, and clean modern visuals featuring a stunning Tanya for “Letter To My Ex.”

March 20th will see the release of Grammy winner Esperanza Spalding’s newest album, Radio Music Society. Each of the 12 tracks will be coupled with conceptual music videos detailing the stories behind each song.

Guest appearances will include jazz legends Lovano, Jack DeJohnette and Billy Hart, as well as other dynamic talents such as Q-Tip, Algebra Blessett, Lalah Hathaway, and Gretchen Parlato.

We can’t wait to share more as it comes! Going to be a great project.

“Stormbird” is the new single from UK group, Belleruche and above is their glowy smoke-filled video for the bouncy soft-toned track.

Their upcoming album, Rollerchain, is due in May and will feature a “collision of haunting vocals, aggressive analogue sounds and bleeding edge electronic production.” We can most definitely get down with that.
