We are thrilled to have been a part of the collaborative effort behind the HULU documentary "The 1619 Project," which recently earned the prestigious Emmy award for “Outstanding Original Documentary or Non diction Series.” Spearheaded by Nikole Hannah-Jones, the project began as a New York Times podcast before evolving into a book and ultimately a documentary series. Giant Step was asked to serve as the music supervisors, it was both an honor and a pleasure to contribute to this noteworthy production alongside our esteemed colleague, Barry Cole. The original score, crafted by the legendary James Poysner, added a remarkable layer to the project.

Participating in this endeavor was not only an incredible professional experience but also a means of contributing to the telling of an important and impactful story.
