Music supervision

We were asked to oversee music for The 1619 Project, a six part documentary series for Hulu. Created by journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones and produced by The New York Times, Oprah Winfrey and Lionsgate, this docuseries reimagined the Pulitzer Prize winning series for a whole new audience.

OUR APPROACH

We leveraged our relationships and deep knowledge of music to curate themed episodes on: Democracy, Race, Capitalism, Music, Fear and Justice.
